"Hi and thanks for taking a look at my website!
I’ve been a professional illustrator since graduating from Falmouth College of Arts in 2000, mainly working in the children's book industry
Recent books illustrated include "Think Big" by Kes Gray (Hodder), the Sam Wu series by Kevin and Katie Tsang (Egmont) and the “Grandma Dangerous” series by Kita Mitchell (Orchard)
Books coming out later this year include “Incredible You’ by Rhys Brisenden (Tate) and “My Parents Cancelled my Birthday” by Jo Simmons (Bloomsbury) a follow up to "I Swapped My Brother on the Internet" which was selected for the Tom Fletcher Book club.
Recently “Sam Wu is Not Afraid of Sharks” has been shortlisted for the new Alligator’s Mouth Award.
Away from children’s books, I was commissioned to illustrate the Time Out London Christmas edition cover 2018 and my work was shortlisted for the Serco Prize for Illustration in 2014. As a result, my entry was exhibited in the London Transport Museum.
When I'm not illustrating, I enjoy playing football with my two boys, watching my beloved Tottenham Hotspur or visiting my favourite place in the world, Cornwall
When I’m illustrating, I mostly listen to Radiohead, Pink Floyd and Four Tet and like discovering new music on Spotify."
